A pastor once told this story about two guys, one a Christian the other just a regular guy. He never mentioned their names so I’ll name the Christian John and the other guy Larry.

John and Larry where sitting across each other on a train. John thought to himself; I want to witness to this guy, but where do I start?  Larry had ordered a cup of coffee and the waitress was just bringing it to him. Ahh that’s it! John thought; I’ll start with the health massage.   He said to Larry, did you know that when you drink coffee you will lose self-control? Larry just looked at John with an odd look on his face and continued sipping his coffee. So John said something else.       Did you know that when you drink coffee, you will get angry? Larry just ignored him.   John got rather upset so he said (in a rather stern voice) DID YOU KNOW THAT WHEN YOU DRINK COFFEE YOU WILL GET VERY ANGRY? By now Larry was done with his first cup of coffee and orders another cup. And by now John what angry and was about to give Larry some choose word’s, when Larry stopped him and said,

Wait a minute, how is it that I’m the one drinking the coffee but you’re the one losing self-control.  I’m the one drinking the coffee but you the one getting angry. I’m the one drinking the coffee but you’re the one getting REALLY ANGRY. John just sat there and said nothing…

What’s John’s problem? He didn’t wait on God to open the door to share with Larry, he went on his own time and we don’t wait on God we well get ourselves in a situation that makes us say or do things that we normally won’t want to do. So if we want to share with someone we should pray about it and ask God to open the door for us!
